Vingis residential

This complex is the first of four residential blocks to be built in the former industrial area near Vingis Park, on the coast of Neris. The houses in the block are oriented to create a private courtyard and to open up to the river valley as much as possible. The volumes of the houses are topped with large screen like slabs which house apartments with loft spaces and have an excellent visual connection with the Neris river. The project is important not only because it converts this specific industrial area: the project also begins the transformation of a much larger part of the city – Vilkpėdė.
