The river Neris flows along the edge of the former industrial area near Vingis Park, but until now there was no way to use it. With this project, we made part of that wild coast accessible. For implementation we chose organic approach – the tracks, although they have all the modern structural layers that drain the water of rain and river floods, are only lightly graveled on the surface, avoiding cobblestones or other hard surfaces. To reach the coastal path from the upper terrace, there are two wooden stairs, which integrate observation decks, from which you can enjoy a great view of the Neris Valley.
