Subačiaus St. 19

Modest, yet memorable contemporary building is set in a delicate context of Vilnius old town. A typical perimeter of the building’s envelope forms an intimate and homely inner courtyard which widens towards the top to achieve a sense of spaciousness. Street façade takes its inspiration from an archaic technology of dark coloured plaster while at the street level decorative tiles reflect the motive of sgraffit technique.
