Zunda park in Riga masterplan

The strategical location of the project calls for the design to combines the epitome of city life and tranquility with the surrounding natural environment.
The project recreates the feeling of proximity that historical cities have by considering walkability, diversity of Mixed-used spaces and highlights human comfort through spaces. The architectural design consists of the interpretation of archetypical house form and scale, combining modern architecture features, accompanied by contemporary and rigid expression of commercial structures.
The proposed urban concept allows for a flexible and coherent development of the project area starting from the southernmost site’s location allowing for independent development of separated stages.
